6. Unique vegetation
These "Pinedrops" are growing in unit 54. (They are about 4 inches tall, in case you can't tell by the picture). The Lodgepole Pine forest to be clearcut can be seen in the background. It goes to within 300 feet of Spring River itself (see previous photo about unique geology).
