Coquille Tribal Clearcut
These forests had survived
decades of abuses by
invading europeans. As
soon as the land was
returned to the Coquille
Tribe, the plan to clearcut
328 acres came out
immediately. In this
picture, the 51 acres have
been logged. The left side
you can see the trees have
been drug (yarded) out. The
right side, the trees are still
waiting to be yarded.
