Holiday Specific Primate Greeting Cards The fun loving primates at Mindy's Memory Primate Sanctuary (mindysmem.org) have gotten together and come up with a way that you can help promote the sanctuary. Please send a monkey greeting card. Come meet the fun loving residents through our online monthly newsletter by sending an email to monkeytales-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Currently there are 48 monkeys residing at Mindy's. They range in age from Beasley, who arrived on 4/12/03 at the age of 11 months, to Muggsy, who is 40 years old, and comes complete with arthritic fingers, age spots, a sagging chin and wrinkles. See what they were and WHO they have become. Some were beloved pets, petstore displays, research subjects and one who was being smuggled into Canada from Moracco. Some arrive as infants needing to be bottle fed, others have never seen the outdoors or another monkey before. Many of these would have been euthanized if it were not for a sanctuary like Mindy's where all can live out the remainder of their lives in peace, just being monkeys.
